Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

Include any activity which has as a target, improve the position where a website returns on organic placement of Search Engines for specific keywords. One way to achieve this target is to have a search engine friendly website via its content and also have its site referred via links by an important number of other websites relevant to your activity sector.

 
Paid inclusion
It is a product which the Search engines charge a fee to include websites in their search index. This product is offered by several search engines besides Google.
 
Paid Placement
Include all the activities on search engines or partner websites which are paid, either per each click on link sending to your site or/and commission or/and for a fix fee. Advertisings on search engine are in the sponsored link section and are commonly called: paid per click.
 
PPC = Pay Per Click
Term used when you pay a third party website each time a potential customer click on a link sending to your site.
 
CTR = Click Through Rate
It’s a percentage obtained dividing the number of clicks by the number of impressions. An impression is when your link/ad is seen on a webpage.
 
CPA = Cost per Acquisition
This is the marketing cost which occurs on average for a specific action. (E.g: the average cost to generate one lead or one sale)
 
ROI = Return on Investment
It’s equal to: Revenue generated divided by marketing costs.
